A finance-trained developer, not a developer who dabbles in finance.

Most financial dashboards are built by people who know software but treat the finance as arithmetic. Most financial models are built by people who know finance but ship them as fragile spreadsheets. The work I do sits deliberately in the overlap: applied graduate financial analysis translated into maintainable, validated, usable software.

The finance side comes from an MBA and a Master in International Trade, completed through competency-based, case-study-driven graduate programs. That work was applied rather than theoretical: break-even and profitability analysis, cash-flow modeling, financial ratios, investment appraisal with NPV and IRR, payroll and workforce-cost calculations, depreciation, amortization and asset impairment, book-to-tax reconciliation, and international expansion analysis — across financial management, international accounting, international financial services, and international corporate taxation. I earned strong first-attempt results across those finance case studies, which I mention only as evidence that the training stuck.

The software side is full-stack development: SaaS application development, data modeling, workflow automation, and dashboard design. It means the financial logic doesn't stop at a recommendation deck — it becomes a working system with a data model, automated validation, documentation, and an interface a non-financial founder can actually use.

The intersection matters because founders don't experience finance as separate disciplines. A hire is a payroll question, a cash question, a break-even question, and sometimes a tax question — all at once. Systems should be built the way the questions arrive: connected.
